TL;DR
Open Connect Instagram in the dashboard, sign in through Meta, and grant messaging permissions. You need a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.
Requirements
- Instagram Business or Creator account.
- Facebook Page linked to that Instagram account.
- Admin access to the Facebook Page.
Connect in the dashboard

Open Connect Instagram
From your dashboard, go to Connect Instagram or Accounts.

Authorize with Meta
Log in with Facebook, select the correct Page and Instagram profile, then click Allow on the permissions screen.

Confirm status
When connected, your account appears as active in Accounts. You can now create automations.
Common setup issues
- Personal accounts must be switched to Business or Creator (free in Instagram settings).
- If the wrong Page is selected, disconnect and reconnect with the correct Page.
- Missing permissions usually mean re-running the Meta authorization flow.
